Affan Waheed (Urdu: عفان وحید) is a Pakistani television actor, model and RJ. He is best known for his roles as Musaf in Aik Pal (2014), Atif in Khamoshi (2017), Shafay in Bay Dardi (2018), and as Badar in Do Bol (2019). Waheed will also be seen in 2020 film Mastaani. The third of four siblings, Waheed was born in Karachi where his father, from the Pakistan Air Force, was stationed. Because of his father’s military career, the family moved a lot and he grew up in different cities (Gujranwala, Islamabad and Sargodha), and they eventually settled in Lahore. A graduate of the National College of Arts, he made his transition from painting to acting in 2006 with a role in Tere Pehlu Mein, and apart from painting and acting, he also writes Urdu poetry and keeps an interest in music as a singer as well. Affan Waheed, who is best known for his latest drama ‘Do Bol’ with Hira Mani has become the new heartthrob. Waheed has earned himself a place in Pakistan’s drama industry after years of hard work and dedication. His latest character ‘Saad’ for the drama ‘Ghalati’ has been the talk of the town and that is surely a great accomplishment for him as an actor. Despite all the success and fame, he has earned in his professional life, it seems that the story is quite different on the personal part. Back in 2016, He tied the knot but things did not work out well for him and he parted ways with his wife in a year or so. In 2017, the young actor made an announcement on his social media post about him splitting with his wife. The post followed a recent viral picture of him and Iqra Aziz getting engaged, from the sets of their drama. Affan Waheed did not talk about his separation much until his recent interview with Samina Peerzada. “It is not about who is right, you or your partner. Sometimes both partners are right but they’re not just compatible with each other and its best to part ways. My case was the same and we mutually decided to move on,” said Affan. It was a major decision. Although things seem well and pleasant they are not, he stated. “I had depression because of that and a few other things bringing me down. But I went through it and I will call myself a self-taught survivor of pain,” said Affan.
